One of the ways the Most Noble and Ancient house of Black keeps their royal power above the Ministry of Magic, is that royal children don’t have the trace. This keeps all their magic in general hidden from the Ministry as the trace can detect any magic cast near kids who have it.

I was absentmindedly thinking about my au’s timeline and I realized the very real possibility that Ron and Hermione’s eldest son and Draco’s younger brother are in the same year at Hogwarts and that just sounds like a dumpster fire waiting to happen.

It would probably be a little less of a mess if both their names didn’t start with R.

I honestly can't decide if I love or hate this idea.

Yeah, Rigel and Pavo are definitely going to be in the same year at Hogwarts. That’s just to funny of an idea to pass up.
